The DAFS
The DB250LF, with East Lancs Myllenium body work, is the most common bus type to be used with Bus Vannin. There are 4 different types of this bus. The first was delivered no. 89-98 in 2001. 10 more arrived the following year, and a final 10 in 2003. 3 last DB250s were delivered in 2005, numbered 44-46, however these chassis were produced by VDL instead of DAF, and these were the only VDLs delivered. Today all bar 1 remain in use, the exception is 4, written off in 2010 in a crash with a bank. All other than no. 7 wear the IOMT red and cream livery. 7 wears the newer Bus Vannin livery first applied when the Gemini's were delivered. 89-98 are now marked 's' for schools use.
